We are doing 2 contests that will be running for the next few weeks!

Every day of the week for the next month(ends Friday May 10th), we will be giving away a free copy of Wizorb on OUYA to our Facebook and twitter followers! Our second contest needs a bit more work! 3 lucky winners, will win a copy of Mercenary Kings for Steam when it launches and early beta access! To get in on this one, you need to take a picture of yourself on the final end boss of Wizorb for OUYA. (be in the picture!) We know this might be tricky so we’ll allow you to pause the game and take the picture. Send the picture to info@tributegames.com. We’ll compile them and enter you in the drawing!

Same deadline applies to both.

Next week we will attend the Montreal International Game Summit. We’ll have a small booth (#17) in the Demo Zone where we will show off a new playable version of Mercenary Kings. So, if you happen to be coming to MIGS on November 13 and 14, don’t hesitate to drop by our booth and try our demo!

One of the objectives of our Kickstarter campaign was to raise enough money to hire a programmer to help Jean-François with the huge amount of coding required for this game. Well, we found our man and he started yesterday! His name is Alexandre Maari, and he’s worked with us on many GBA games (including Open Season and TMNT). With him on board, we feel even more confident that we’ll make this game a total blast!

Also, our forum is now live, so check it out! Anyone can register but backers who pledged $80 or more will have access to privileged sections (for example, a feedback section for the closed beta version).

Lastly, we sent Wizorb Steam keys in September to all our ($15 or more) backers, but we had some issues with our email delivery system so, it’s possible that some of you might not have received it. If that’s the case, please email us at info@tributegames.com

We’re launching a Kickstarter for Mercenary Kings today! We really want to make this game the best it can be, and to achieve that we need additional support.

We hope that people will see the huge potential of this game like we do and will be willing to participate in this adventure! Our backers will get cool rewards (the most basic one being a digital copy of Mercenary Kings and a digital copy of Wizorb).

As you might have guessed by our Kickstarter project image (shown above), Paul Robertson will be doing the animations for the game. On the art side, Jonathan “Persona” Kim, and Stéphane Boutin are also involved in the project, so you can be sure that it’s gonna feature some fancy graphics!
