(This combined document sets forth the Terms of Use, End User License Agreement (“EULA”), and Code of Conduct governing the use of the Game.)
This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“User” or “you”) and Tribute Games Inc. (“Publisher” or “we”), a corporation incorporated under the laws of the Province of Québec, Canada, regarding your use of the video game Scott Pilgrim EX (the “Game”).
Scott Pilgrim EX is developed and published by Tribute Games Inc. under license from Universal City Studios LLC (“Licensor”), owner of the Scott Pilgrim intellectual property.
By installing, copying, accessing, or otherwise using the Game, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Game.
In this Agreement:
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, the Publisher grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use one copy of the Game for your personal, non-commercial entertainment. This license applies whether the Game is obtained through digital download, physical media, or any other authorized distribution method.
All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by the Publisher and the Licensor.
This license does not convey any ownership interest in the Game or its intellectual property.
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Game—including source code, art, music, and design—are owned or licensed by Tribute Games Inc. under authorization from Universal City Studios LLC.
The Scott Pilgrim brand, characters, storyline, and associated trademarks remain the exclusive property of Universal City Studios LLC.
Nothing in this Agreement grants you any rights to use the Scott Pilgrim IP except as expressly permitted.
You may not:
The Game may include third-party software subject to separate license terms. Those terms govern such components.
Whether the Game is obtained digitally or on physical media, the Publisher may provide or deploy updates, patches, or modifications to maintain or improve performance and fix issues. Such updates may be required to continue using the Game.
The Publisher and Licensor reserve the right to modify or discontinue certain features or online components at any time.
The Game may incorporate digital-rights-management systems, online activation, or anti-cheat mechanisms. By using the Game, you consent to these technical measures.
Certain features, updates, or authentication processes may require an Internet connection, even if the Game was obtained on physical media.
Certain features or services may require an active Internet connection or third-party account. Availability of online features is not guaranteed and may be discontinued at any time without notice.
This Agreement remains in effect until terminated, regardless of the form in which the Game was obtained (digital or physical). The Publisher may terminate it immediately if you fail to comply with its terms. Upon termination, you must uninstall and delete all copies of the Game.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Game is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Neither the Publisher nor the Licensor guarantees uninterrupted or error-free operation or compatibility with all devices.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Publisher and Licensor shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the Game.
In any event, their total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Game.
To ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all players, the following rules apply to any interaction within or related to the Game. You agree not to:
Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of your access to the Game, at the Publisher’s sole discretion.
Players are expected to act with respect, fairness, and integrity while using the Game. This includes:
The Publisher may monitor activity or communications where applicable to enforce these standards and protect the integrity of the Game and its community.
When engaging with the broader community, such as on forums, social media, or official channels, you agree to:
Failure to follow these guidelines may result in disciplinary action, including content removal, account restriction, or termination of access. We encourage creativity, collaboration, and mutual respect to help maintain a positive environment for all fans of the Game.
The Publisher does not collect or process any personal or gameplay data directly.
Certain technical or usage data (such as crash logs or analytics) may be collected automatically by third-party services used by the Game, such as Epic Online Services, in accordance with their own privacy policies.
The Publisher does not have access to, or control over, such data collection.
The Game does not use dedicated or publisher-hosted servers.
Online functionality operates on a peer-to-peer basis and may rely on third-party services such as Epic Online Services (EOS).
Use of EOS or other third-party features is subject to their own terms of service and privacy policy, which the player must review and accept as applicable.
Your use of the Game is subject to each Platform’s terms of service and policies.
You agree to comply with all applicable export-control and trade laws.
Unauthorized use of the Game may cause irreparable harm; the Publisher or Licensor may seek injunctive relief.
The Publisher may update this Agreement at any time. Continued use of the Game signifies acceptance of such updates.
If any provision is held invalid, the remainder shall remain in effect.
Neither the Publisher nor Licensor shall be liable for failure to perform due to causes beyond reasonable control.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada.
Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Montréal, Québec.

Nothing in this Agreement limits statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
